Tattletale

In this series I explore graphite in a very expressive way in which accident and uncertainty are part of the process. The pictures are created by several layers of a sketchy style drawing. This enhances the overall look, adding to the impression that you only had a glimpse of the subject.

The work reflects on freedom of speech and basic human rights. I have created a series of characters that work as metaphors for freedom and physical repression, in a world far from utopia.

As part of my Tattletale series I have produced a short animation available here.
