Sketch of the week #3
If I grab my sketchbook everyone will notice and it will make it harder for me to draw the people around… but if I’m working on my laptop and suddenly feel like switching to “sketch mode” … well, that’s a different story! :)

Doors@Porto
Here are some of the traditional late 19th century (early 20th) doors from Porto. Very narrow and hight, usually with a window on top to allow light into the corridor. They were the inspiration for my film’s backgrounds!

In late 2012 I was working on an English book for Timorense schools. This was a project by University of Minho (Portugal) in collaboration with East Timor Ministry of Education. These are the characters I created and that illustrated the book. Meet Rafael, Liz, Maria and Fernando! ;)

Working in the library is sometimes very productive. You take your laptop and work on the files you have to but… every now and then, you can grab your sketchbook and have a look around! ;)

Happy accident!
My SD card got corrupted with all my Corfu photos in it. Yes, panic is about right to describe what I felt. Luckily I managed to recover most of them and even post some previously. But these are truly special! Some corrupted files retrieved along the way and that I adore. Oh! they’re from Porto! …
